Bel Canto

Bel Canto, our introductory choir, is open to girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 12. Italian for ‘beautiful singing’, the sound produced by this young group lives up to its name. The children participate in a relaxed audition and they rehearse on Wednesday afternoons. Their repertoire includes age-appropriate music and a healthy dose of fun, allowing each member to discover his or her own voice and to use it with joy. Bel Canto participates in our own two concerts as well as several others throughout the year. Their season concludes with a performance at Pennsylvania’s High Notes Festival in June, where they have consistently been awarded ‘Superior’ ratings. This annual outing is traditionally followed by a celebratory afternoon at Dorney Park.
